The Charity and Sponsorship Site of Outbound First Aid Ltd and ApexExtreme 

The Summits Club is all about what Outbound First Aid Ltd and it's Outdoor Equipment Website, ApexExtreme, do to try and help charities and young people in the community. We mainly do this by organising charity climbs and providing sponsorship. 

The directors Nick Begg, Carole Begg and Nigel Stephenson believe that as a socially responsible company it is our duty to try and help others in your community. This website gives information on what we are doing to help now, who we have helped in the past and our new ventures in the planning. Hopefully, this will encourage others out there to do their bit and indeed gives organisations a chance to contact us about activities they feel we may be able to help with.

SPONSORSHIP: We have commited to sponsoring 3 young climbers form Scotland North in the next (2009) season of the Youth Climbing Series with Petzl equipment.

We have also entered a long term commitment to sponsor the Apex Challenge for Scouts. Both of these are sponsored via our ApexExtreme Website.

PAST AND FUTURE HILLWALKING AND MOUNTAINEERING MISSIONS

Completed Missions : Ben Nevis 2007, Kilimanjaro 2007 and Ben Nevis 2008.

Next Mission: Mount Elbrus Expedition 2009 (the highest mounatin in Europe).

Benefactors : So far we have raised £2300+ for Asthma UK. CLAN in Aberdeen were helped by some of the climbers in the Ben Nevis climb in 2008. In 2009 Elbrus will be climbed in aid of Asthma UK.
